The Beam team is hungry to build a new category of Cloud Governance Platform as part of Nutanix vision to simplify Multi-Cloud & Hybrid-Cloud management. Are you keen to join the team that is creating a SaaS platform for the Enterprise Cloud? We are looking for a passionate backend engineer to join our team and design and implement the next-gen multi-cloud features in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your Role:

• Be part of the development team to build web-scale SaaS products.
• Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications and enterprise-grade code.
• Design and develop high-quality data processing engines, REST APIs, and database designs for highly scalable, highly available, and robust services.
• Write efficient, scalable, and clean code.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers in adopting successful practices in design, development, and testing.
• Participate in on-call rotations and handle customer queries.

What you'll bring:

• Love for programming and rock solid in one or more languages: Java & Go primarily and Python would be a plus.
• Good with standard data structures and algorithms.
• Good problem solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong software engineering and design thinking.
• Experience with distributed systems and a good grasp of distributed systems concepts (e.g CAP, consensus algorithms, consistent hashing, etc).
• Experience with any Relational & NoSQL databases.
• Strong web application technology experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on code simplicity and performance.
• Familiarity with containers and microservices.
• Working knowledge of one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be a plus.
• Familiarity with OAS or following API first development methodology would be a plus.
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in building enterprise-quality products.
